- OVERVIEW:
An operation theatre technologist is a person who looks after all the work and management of the operation theatre which includes managing the patients in and out of operation theatre, looking after all the surgical instruments including their sterilization, arranging operation table, dressing table, instrument table, anaesthesia table as well as management of the operation theatre staff.
An operation theatre technologist also assists the surgeon during the surgical operations and looks after the drugs required for surgery, anaesthetic gases, drapes, linen and their sterilization.
- ELIGIBILITY:
10+2 passed in science stream with minimum 50% marks( Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics).
